SAFEX

SAFEX is storage stable, free flowing, and thermal de-composition resistant stabilized bleach donor in the bleach bath. The HOCI formed is more stable in water for a long time than other bleaches. When the product is dissolved in water, it rapidly hydrolyzes to release free available bleach, establishing a complex series of equilibrium involving six chlorinated and four non-chlorinated isocyanurates. It will rapidly dissociate and continue to release HOCI for bleaching.
